The Calvert County Courthouse is located at 175 Main St., Prince Fredrick, Maryland, and is open Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
All persons entering the courthouse must submit to security screening for the purpose of detecting weapons and contraband. Such searches may include the use of electronic or other specialized equipment or manual searches, as deemed appropriate by court security. In addition, all briefcases, packages, bags, purses, wallets, cell phones, electronic devices and other personal belongings will be scanned by an x-ray machine and may be manually inspected. The following items may not be brought into the courthouse:
Weapons of any kind
Mace or similar sprays
Radios
Food or beverages

Smoking Policy
Consuming tobacco or cannabis via smoking, using or carrying any activated or lighted cigarettes, cigars, cigarillos, pipes, water pipes, vaporizers or other smoking apparatuses to produce vapor or smoke is prohibited. View the Courthouse policy on smoking (PDF).
