Overview of Commuter Service

Calvert County, through the Maryland Transit Administration of the Maryland Department of Transportation, provides the commuters of the county with an alternative mode of transportation.

Commuter buses operate Monday through Friday and leave from Park and Ride locations throughout the Calvert County. These buses make stops throughout Washington, D.C. and connect with the metro system for rides into Montgomery County and Northern Virginia. Commuter Route 820

Express service via MD 4. Buses on Route 820 stop at park and ride lots at the following locations:

  • North Beach Municipal Lot (5th Street and Chesapeake Avenue)
  • Dash-In (MD 2 and MD 260, Owings)
  • Bristol Park and Ride (MD 4 and MD 258)
  • Wayson's Corner Park and Ride
  • Prince George's County Equestrian Center Park and Ride
